I AM A MULTIDISCIPLINARY CREATIVE SPECIALIZING IN VISUAL ART, CULTURAL PROGRAMMING, AND INTERIOR DESIGN.
I have always been driven by a sense of curiosity and thirst for knowledge across all areas of the arts. For more than a decade, I have curated, produced, and marketed immersive cultural and intellectual experiences for luxury hospitality brands, including leadership roles at Faena Rose in Miami Beach, the CORE: club in NYC, and most recently as an independent consultant. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of the arts & hospitality, my experience encompasses programming strategy, content curation, talent engagement, event production, marketing & communications, community building, and business development. Throughout my career, I've had the honor of collaborating with many of my cultural heroes—including celebrated artists, Jenny Saville and Mickalene Thomas; pre-eminent thinkers, Malcolm Gladwell and Richard Dawkins; industry icons, Clive Davis and Martha Stewart; James Beard Award-winning chefs, Marcus Samuelsson and Nina Compton; renowned dance companies, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Paul Taylor Dance Company; and influential architects, Daniel Libeskind and Steven Holl; among many others.
A lifetime artist, I left my full-time cultural programming position at the start of 2020 to dedicate time to artmaking, a passion I had put on hold while building my career. Inspired by nature and personal growth, my recent paintings feature real and imaginary landscapes that explore cycles of transformation, rebirth, and interconnectivity. Recurring motifs symbolizing these themes include sunrises/sunsets, the moon phases, rainbows, the ocean, and alternate universes. My process is imbued with an internal meditation on joy and play, which can be felt through my bright and dynamic use of color. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College at Columbia University, where I majored in art history with a concentration in visual arts. Upon graduating, I worked as a studio assistant for artist and cultural icon FAB FIVE FREDDY through the incredible non-profit, Art Production Fund. In addition, I completed a post-baccalaureate program in visual arts at the Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art in Pont-Aven, France.
Interior design bridges my keen sense of aesthetics and visual arts practice with my background of creating transformative cultural experiences. I discovered a passion for the field in recent years through the process of renovating and designing my home. I earned a Certificate in Interior Design from the University of Miami in 2020 and look forward to future projects.
